The presence of the Speaker, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley for the purpose of marking the Pulaaku National Day, being organised by the Fulbe Development and Cultural Organisation, FUDECO, honouring the request to serve as guest of honour, came as a bolt from the blue.

The FUDECO flier that went viral contained 26 guests of honour, some of them past and present state and national lawmakers from Adamawa state, irrespective of gender, tribe or religion.

While some have registered reasons for their unavoidable absences, some were represented, in spite of tight neverending to-do list associated with representational leadership that require critical scaling of preference, not to break the breath, Wesley's wisely taken step, to grace the occasion, rather than delegating to represent people's representative, leading the lawmakers at the state level, is considered an onerous fit that has adroitly added a fillip in the diadem of his achievements as a Speaker.

Receiving the notice of invitation, the Speaker was reported to have requested to know the commitment; the contribution he would be expected to make, among other requirements.

The Honourable gracing the occasion rather than engaging a delegation for a representation would be an honour, FUDECO, the event organiser, would with humility respond, with the understanding that the lawmaker's leadership schedule would be a busy calendar.

The capability and capacity for humanity, the philanthropy and the spirit of cross fertilisation of cultures, the love of and for unity with genuine hope for mutual coexistence about him, in consideration that it takes two hands to clap, not to pounce, pound, pinch or punch, made Bathiya the wisely Wesley to extend his generous hand in the arrangement for the event.

While acknowledgment of the generosity was registered, a confirmation was read to the delight of the FUDECO that the Honourable Speaker would personally honour the Pulaaku annual cultural heritage, showcasing, love for unity, peace and mutual coexistence between and among tribes.

The lawmaker, wearing charming character, in tune with representational leadership credibility, cheered by FUDECO, commended the message through entertainment event, urged the Fulbe organisation not to relent in promoting cultural heritage and peace mission aimed at strengthening unity in diversity.

FUDECO isn't alone in the unity and peace mission, the Speaker would reveal, the state lawmakers are in the process of legislating for peace, unity and mutual coexistence tied to security, progress and development.

FUDECO thanked the Honourable Speaker and prayed for his legislative success.

The participants interviewed hailed the Speaker, assuring their genuine support as a reciprocity...
