Yusuf Garba Launches Digital Platform to Boost Public Participation Ahead of 2027 Poll

Yusuf Garba, the Labour Party candidate for Yola North, Yola South and Girei Federal Constituency, has launched an official campaign website aimed at creating a direct channel between his campaign and residents ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.

The platform, www.yusufgarba.com, is designed to enable constituents to engage with the campaign, submit ideas, report community challenges, volunteer and contribute professional skills to the political process.

Garba said the website contains details of his Six-Point Agenda, Riverlight Vision and proposed development plans for the constituency, with a focus on agriculture, trade, infrastructure, technology, energy and human capital development.

One of the major features of the platform is the Community Needs Register, which allows residents to identify their local government area, ward and polling unit and document challenges affecting their communities, including supporting evidence.

Garba said the information would provide his campaign with a clearer, evidence-based understanding of the priorities of communities across the constituency.

The website also allows professionals, students, residents and members of the diaspora to submit policy proposals, while individuals and support groups can register to participate in the campaign.

Garba said his campaign would prioritise participation, accessibility and accountability, stressing that the initiative was intended to build a collective platform for better representation rather than focus solely on an individual candidate.

He urged residents and supporters to visit the website, examine his agenda, submit ideas and participate in the campaign ahead of the 2027 election.
