Mohammed Ahmad Modibbo, has declared his intention to contest for a seat in the State House of Assembly representing Yola North Constituency in the 2027 elections.
In a statement released on Monday, April 28, 2027, Modibbo said his decision was driven by a “deep commitment” to public service and a desire to promote integrity, transparency, and effective representation.
He said the people of Yola North deserve leadership that prioritises inclusive development and amplifies community interests at the state level.
“The journey to a better Yola North starts now,” he said, framing his ambition around youth empowerment and sustainable development.
Modibbo’s declaration comes amid increasing political activity ahead of Nigeria’s next general elections, as aspirants across parties begin positioning for key offices. He is expected to seek his party’s nomination in the coming months as campaigns gradually gather momentum.
