APC Support Groups and Adamawa State APC Discuss Key Matters in Joint Meeting

The Coalition of APC Support Groups and the Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) held an important meeting today to address issues affecting the party. The meeting, conducted at the party's secretariat in Adamawa, resulted in significant resolutions aimed at strengthening unity and tackling internal challenges.

One of the primary topics discussed was the Adamawa State APC’s decision to abstain from the upcoming local government elections. This decision was influenced by concerns about the composition of the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC), which the party considered inadequate for ensuring a fair and transparent election.

The gathering also criticized recent suspensions of party members and threats from certain leaders, calling for reconciliation and dialogue to resolve these disputes. The party's leadership committed to promoting inclusivity, especially by acknowledging the contributions of youths and ensuring their active involvement in decision-making processes.

Additionally, the Coalition expressed gratitude to the Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, and National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu for appointing loyal party members to key positions. They encouraged continued support and the creation of more opportunities to strengthen the party’s influence.

In response to concerns about the future of APC youths in Adamawa, the meeting emphasized the importance of addressing the challenges they face and pledged to prioritize their interests moving forward.

In his concluding remarks, Hon. Khaleel Sajo, Chairman of the Coalition of APC Support Groups, reaffirmed the party's commitment to democratic values and the active involvement of youths in shaping the party's future.

The resolutions made in today's meeting are expected to guide the future actions and strategies of the Adamawa State APC, focusing on unity, inclusiveness, and strong leadership.
