MAAUN commiserates with Tanimu Darma's family over his death

The President and Founder of Maryam Abacha American University and Franco-British International University, Kaduna, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has condoled with the family of one of the postgraduate students of the university, Alhaji Tanimu Sule Darma Kaduna, who died recently.

The deceased, who was a student in the Department of Community Health of MAAUN in Niger Republic, died following a brief illness.

The condolence message was contained in a statement signed by Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to newsmen in Kano on Tuesday.

He described the death of Tanimu Darma as great loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire staff of the university as a whole.

The MAAUN President also described the deceased as a patriotic Nigerian, who worked tireless towards the development of his Community in Kawo Kaduna by establishing a private clinic at Sabon Kawo area.

According to Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo, the deceased had also contributed greatly towards the provision of scholarships to qualified indigenes of the area to study at MAAUN university.

"On behalf of the Management of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAU), I wish to extend our condolences to the family, relations and friends of Tanimu Darma over his demise.

"May the Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus and give the family the fortitude to bear the great loss," Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo
