APC, PDP Shelve Youth Protests, Sue For Peace In Adamawa

Against the supports and the call by some politicians antagonistic to President Tinubu led government for the planned youth rage to occupy the country, the PDP led government in Adamawa state and the APC, as a political party, in response to presidential call for peace against violence, have separately shelved the call to shell the country with what is considered as hunger protests.

Adamawa state is considered as PDP stronghold that produced the PDP presidential candidate who scored the highest votes, in addition to winning the 2019 and 2023 governorship elections, following the anti party activities of some supposed APC stakeholders in antipathy to the most popular governorship candidate of the party.

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate also got a substantial number of votes in the state to emerge as the third runner.

Both the 2023 LP and PDP presidential candidates have thrown their weights in support for the youth protests, expressing what is christened as "hunger anger" that is considered in part as product of alien conspiracy surreptitiously smuggled to disintegrate the country as experienced by other unfortunate countries currently in ruins and in part, politically instigated aim to distabilise the ruling party.

The PDP led governments, not only in Adamawa state, contrary to the presidential candidate's, have kicked against the youth protests capable of degenerating to insecurity.

Governor Fintiri of Adamawa state, having additional a.k.a, from "Fresh Air" to "Flyover Governor," rhythming with the first letter of his name, has not relented on inviting relevant stakeholders for peace building, peacemaking and peacekeeping against protest in the state battling with Shilla uncultured youth notoriety that could be deployed to hijack what ought to be a peaceful protest for looting.

Similarly, the APC led national government, perhaps in consideration of the state that produces the PDP presidential candidate, who made public his support for youth protests, and the current National Security Adviser (NSA) who among his responsibility is to ensure restoration and strengthening of peace in the country, has been engaged in the anti protest awareness campaigns in Adamawa state and across the country, by promoting citizenry centred policy and achievements recorded by the Tinubu led government, particularly the "grassrooted;" local government autonomy...

Peace remains an uncompromising treasure, while both the state and the federal government recognise the right to peaceful protest, they assured that they would not condone any attempts at degenerating the peace move into anarchy.

The clergymen and clerics, defeating bashings, have consistently condemned what is claimed to be a hunger protest "having the conveners who aren't in any way hungry, arguing that it will eventually be translated to worse than hunger as negatively experienced in other countries hardly gathering, not to talk of mending broken pieces.
