The President MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has extended his heartfelt condolence to the family of Mouhamadou Salissou Hamissou of the Radio France International, who passed away following an auto crash.
The deceased died on Wednesday in a car accident along the Katsina–Kano road.
In a condolence message personally signed and made available to newsmen on Monday in Kano, Prof. Gwarzo also expressed his deepest condolences to the management of Radio France International.
He described the deceased as a very humble and kind hearted person who contributed towards the development of the journalism profession in the country.
While condoling the Government and people of Niger Republic over the incident, Prof. Gwarzo prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and admit him to the highest level of Jannatul Firdaus.
He also prayed to almighty Allah to give his family and relatives the emotional courage to bear the huge loss.
Late Salissou Hamissou who left behind one wife and eight children, would be buried on Friday in his hometown, Tsibiri-Maradi, Niger Republic.
